"Emmy" balvas saņem "The Pitt", "The Studio" un "Adolescence"
16.09.2025 Losandželosā svētdien "Emmy" balvu pasniegšanas ceremonijā, godinot izcilākos veikumus televīzijā, labākā seriāla drāmas balvu ieguva seriāls "The Pitt" ("Pitsburga"), bet komēdiju kategorijā uzvarēja seriāls "The Studio".Kā labākais miniseriāls tika godalgots "Adolescence" ("Pusaudzība").
Labākā sarunu šova balvu saņēma Stīvena Kolbēra raidījums "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert".
Kolbērs bija viens no vakara varoņiem un izpelnījās stāvovācijas jau ceremonijas sākumā.
Telekanāls CBS jūlijā paziņoja, ka atceļ "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert". Tas notika dažas dienas pēc tam, kad komiķis bija nosodījis mātesuzņēmuma "Paramount" 16 miljonu dolāru izlīgumu ar prezidentu Donaldu Trampu kā "lielu, treknu kukuli".
Tramps pauda gandarījumu par šova atcelšanu, bet izklaides industrija solidarizējās ar Kolbēru un pauda viņam atbalstu.
