"Straume" iegūst Otavas animācijas festivāla augstāko balvu
30.09.2024 Otavas Starptautiskā animācijas festivāla augstāko balvu sestdien ieguvusi latviešu režisora Ginta Zilbaloža pilnmetrāžas filma "Straume/Flow", vēsta žurnāla "Animation Magazine" tīmekļa vietne.Savukārt galvenā balva īsmetrāžas filmu kategorijā tika piešķirta itāļu režisora Džanluidži Tokafondo lentei "La Voix des Sirènes" ("Sirēnu balss").
Žūrija atzinusi, ka Zilbaloža darbs demonstrē "iespaidīgu kinematogrāfiju" un satur "pārsteidzoši pacilājošu naratīvu". Turklāt "šis emocionāli neatvairāmais stāsts ne uz brīdi nekļūst iepriekš paredzams".
Zilbaloža filma, ko Latvija oficiāli izvirzījusi ASV Kinoakadēmijas balvai "Oskars" kategorijā "Labākā starptautiskā filma", no 22.novembra tiks demonstrēta ASV kinoteātros.
Jau ziņots, ka Zilbaloža animācijas filma "Straume" tika demonstrēta Kannu kinofestivāla konkursa programmā "Īpašais skatiens" kā vienīgā animācijas filma, Ansī animācijas filmu festivālā tā ieguvusi četras balvas, to skaitā žūrijas un skatītāju balvu.
Sākot no šī rudens, filmu demonstrēs kinoteātros daudzviet pasaulē.
Filmas "Straume" radošajā komandā ir režisors, producents, scenārists un mākslinieks Zilbalodis, producents un scenārija līdzautors Matīss Kaža, producenti Rons Diānss un Gregorijs Zalkmans, skaņu režisors Gurvals Koiks-Gallass, galvenais animators Leo Silī-Pelisjē, mūzikas autori Zilbalodis un Rihards Zaļupe, vizuālo efektu mākslinieki Konstantīns Višņevskis un Mārtiņš Upītis.
